FAQs

What is the vendor fee?

If accepted, you are expected to pay the $35 non-refundable vendor fee two weeks prior to the event date. Applying to Grove Market is free! Woo, woo.

Vendors are expected to pay their vendor fee no later than two weeks prior to the event date. If the payment is not received by the listed date, the spot will be forfeited.

Am I guaranteed a spot?

Grove Market is a juried event with limited space. Due to this, not all applicants are guaranteed a spot. Applicants will be notified of acceptance or rejection the week following the application-close date. If you are not accepted, we encourage you to apply for future markets.

What types of vendors are accepted?

This event is for makers, artists, Sole Proprietorships, and L.L.C businesses. We do not accept applications from sales consultants (i.e. Mary Kay, Lularoe, Pampered Chef, etc.)

What is expected of market vendors?

Vendors are expected to set up and break down during the specified market time and assigned space only. Vendors are expected to stay the entire duration of the market. Vendors are responsible for bringing their needed materials and booth supplies such as tents, tables, chairs, displays, weights, etc. Vendors are responsible for keeping their designated area clean: trash bins are provided on-site. Vendors are required to send a Hold Harmless Agreement/waiver to participate in our markets.

Are there marketing materials? Set up instructions?

Vendors will be emailed marketing assets (flyers, graphics, etc.), vendor assignments and maps, set-up instructions, rules and regulations, parking information, and more a week before the event.

Everyone has rules. What are yours?

Vendors are required to send a Hold Harmless Agreement/waiver to participate in our markets. Vendors are expected to operate and comply with all local, state, and federal business, tax regulations, laws, ordinances, and public safety. Vendors are expected to have applicable licensing, permits, and insurance. We believe in creating a vibrant and inclusive community. Kindness, respect, and inclusion are at the core of our values. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. We strive to foster an environment where everyone feels safe and respected. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated at our events.

What’s your refund policy?

Grove Market does not provide refunds. Our vendor fees go towards marketing, digital advertising, and the preparation and coordination of the market (stuff like street closures, rental fees, event insurance, and more).

Vendor day-of cancellations and no-shows without any communication can affect future acceptances. Vendors that are unable to make the scheduled market will not be given refunds. If you do not plan on attending, please let me know as soon as possible so we can free up your space for vendors on our waiting list.

What if it rains or there is inclement weather?

This is an outdoor, rain or shine event. We do not provide refunds. If Grove Market moves to cancel a market due to severe and dangerous weather conditions that would put our vendors and attendees in danger, a credit will be issued to vendors at the next market (or a future date if scheduling is an issue).
